We Are But Dust

I may have strep-throat (I see the doctor later today), my niece's little boy has strep throat, my niece had back surgery last week, then fell and twisted her ankle and is on crutches, my son just found out he needs his sixth surgery (yes I said six!) in as many years for the nightmare that is his sinuses, my grandson has the flu and an ear infection, my husband has a large, very painful, inflamed cyst on his pelvis. Oh these wretched, vile bodies!

O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

......... for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.


Psalms 103:14
For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.

Yes, I know that we are but dust. But I just never knew that dust could hurt so much!
