Spring and Hope Mission

Ed and I just finished our four day work rotation (we work 12 hours a day - noon to midnight - four on and four off) so we spent Thursday doing yard work. Ed cleaned up several bags of tree needles and I worked on my flower bed. My back is stiff and sore but the front yard is now ready for God to work His spring miracle on. I can hardly wait to see it all in bloom.

I noticed that the rabbits downtown are brown again so spring really is here.

Work has gotten busier with the warm weather. More people are on the street since it has gotten nicer and many of them are hungry and in need of the services that the Hope Mission and the Hope Mission Ministry Van provide. Blankets will be a necessity because more of them will be sleeping outside and camps are being set up in the river valley.
Ed received a plaque the other day from EMS thanking us and Hope Mission for the services that the Ministry Van provide. The plaque is hanging in the main office of the Hope Mission Building.
